How do I start a project with Hawkswave?+

Do you sign NDAs?+
Yes. We sign NDAs before any project discussion. Your idea and business data are 100% confidential.
What is your development methodology?+
Agile Scrum with 2-week sprints. You get a working demo after every sprint, so you always see progress and can give feedback early.
How do you handle change requests?+
Minor changes (within scope) are handled as part of ongoing development. Significant changes are scoped and quoted separately with full transparency.
Do you do fixed-price or hourly billing?+
We offer both: Fixed Price for well-scoped projects, and Time & Material (hourly) for evolving products and startup builds. We recommend the best model for your situation.
Technical
What technologies do you use?+

Who owns the source code?+
You do. 100%. We hand over complete source code, database schemas, and documentation at project completion. No vendor lock-in, ever.
Can you maintain or extend existing software?+
Yes. We take on maintenance, refactoring, and feature additions for existing codebases — not just green-field projects.
Do you provide hosting and server management?+
Yes. We set up and manage hosting on AWS, DigitalOcean, or any preferred cloud. The hosting account is always in your name.
Do you write tests?+
Yes. We write automated tests for all business logic. The extent of test coverage is part of the project scope and quoted accordingly.
Pricing & Payment
How much does custom software development cost?+
A basic application starts from ₹1.5–3 lakhs. Medium complexity platforms range from ₹5–15 lakhs. Enterprise systems can be ₹25–50+ lakhs. We provide exact quotes after scoping.
What are your payment terms?+
Typically: 30% advance, 40% at mid-project milestone, 30% on final delivery. Flexible terms for larger or longer projects.
Do you offer EMI or deferred payment?+
For larger projects (₹10L+), we can discuss milestone-based payment schedules that align with your cash flow.
Do you charge for post-launch support?+
The first 1–3 months of bug fixes are included. After that, we offer Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) starting from ₹25K/month.

What support do you provide after launch?+
Bug fixes for the first 3 months. After that, AMC contracts cover bug fixes, security updates, performance monitoring, and up to 10 hours of feature work per month.
How fast do you respond to issues?+
AMC clients get guaranteed response within 4 business hours for critical issues, 24 hours for standard issues.
Can I call/WhatsApp you directly?+
Yes. During business hours (Mon–Sat, 9am–7pm IST), you have direct access to your project team on WhatsApp.
